Divya Yoga Scotland has been established with the sole aim of promoting Yoga and Good Health in Scotland. It is a part of the Patanjali Yog Peeth (UK) Trust. With the blessings of his holiness, Swami Ramdev Baba, we have taken a step forward towards this noble cause and hope to provide maximum service to mankind.

Swami Ramdev is the world's leading, most popular, successful results-oriented yog master. He has become a household name owing to his ability to simplify yog techniques for the masses and validate the benefits of yog and pranayam [a series of breathing techniques] combined with aasan [postures] that are part of the ancient Indian Vedic sciences.

His unique contribution has been in helping ordinary people from all walks of life to lead a healthy, fit and purposeful life. On the request of a large number of his UK-based followers, Swami Ramdev came to the UK during July-August 2006, having successfully conducting over one hundred yog workshops in India that have been attended by over 15 million people and watched on TV by tens of millions more.

Swami Ramdev has sparked off a revolution by bringing about a divine transformation of body, mind and soul. Under his guidance, a large number of people have been alleviated from pain and suffering, thus leading a healthier, more purposeful life.

He was also invited as Indian Ambassador by the United Nations to attend the Millenium Campaign Against Poverty event held at Times Square, New York.
